Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students lives as a Speech Language Pathologist or SLPA during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work across both elementary and secondary school settings, supporting students communication and language development needs. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll be integral in helping children achieve critical milestones and improve their academic experiences.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License and ESA certification required
  • Experience or strong interest working in schools, including with pediatric and adolescent populations
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcomed along with those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in individualized education program (IEP) planning and case management preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, reporting, and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on your assigned caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for elementary and secondary students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input regarding each students needs and progress
  • Serve as a resource for classroom strategies and support
