Skills and qualifications sought for this assignment include:

• Active SLP CA credentials
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based or teletherapy roles
• Knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for diverse student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to delivering both direct and consultative services for children and staff
• Comfort working within a multidisciplinary team environment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and therapy for students K-12
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and report on student progress toward therapy goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support team recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
