Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
• Valid DOE certification as an SLP
• Fingerprinting (required before starting)
• Previous experience within school settings strongly preferred
• Collaborative mindset; passion for working with children, especially in elementary age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Manage a dynamic caseload (mostly elementary-aged students; final details forthcoming)
• Assignments may vary across schools within the Chattanooga area
