Preferred Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid SLP license
• Maintain DOE certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Demonstrate prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles
• Complete fingerprint clearance and any necessary background checks before the start date
• Exhibit strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school-age population
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes per district and regulatory requirements
• Foster positive, supportive learning environments and advocate for student needs
