Required Qualifications:

  • Hold an active SLP license in Michigan
  • Certified by ASHA with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experienced in working with early childhood through high school populations (preferred)
  • Adaptability in developing and delivering individualized speech/language interventions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and fellow educators
  • Passion for helping students achieve their communication and educational goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and/or language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with student needs and goals
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to support student progress within the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and session notes as required
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process and offer regular updates on progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for students communication needs
