Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid and active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) also considered
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a collaborative spirit
• Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and development of individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication services to a diverse K-12 student population
• Evaluate students for speech and language disorders using standardized assessment tools
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to share progress and recommend strategies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Offer support and guidance to educators and families to help maximize student success in and out of the classroom
