This contract opportunity calls for a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in educational settings. Youll work full-time during the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential speech and language services, collaborating with school teams, and ensuring students receive the interventions they need to thrive.
This position is ideal for a motivated SLP who holds an active North Carolina license and has hands-on experience with ECATS. Your expertise will make a difference in day-to-day student progress while you expand your professional skills alongside other dedicated educators.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- SLP-CCC credentials strongly preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings
- Familiarity with ECATS documentation system
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting student success across a diverse population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team processes
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
