Job Description
Providing specialized speech-language pathology services in an educational setting, this full-time contract role is ideal for clinicians holding active North Carolina licensure and experience in school-based speech therapy. The position is located in Concord, NC, serving within a public school environment from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to school-aged children
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational standards and ECATS system
- Participate in virtual interviews via Zoom as part of the selection process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in schools, preferably with ECATS documentation system
- Minimum of one year of experience in school-based speech therapy is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
Location:
- Concord, North Carolina (within the Cabarrus County school district area)
