Job Description

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in the Charlotte, NC area. This contract position extends through the current school year with an expected end date in late May. The role involves providing direct school-based SLP services, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Utilize electronic systems such as ECATS for reporting and case management
  • Participate in virtual interviews and meetings as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active NC Speech-Language Pathologist license is mandatory
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings, particularly K-12, is beneficial
  • Familiarity with ECATS or similar electronic data systems required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Location:

  • Position is based in the Charlotte, NC metro area, serving K-12 students
