Step into a rewarding opportunity working as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist serving K-12 students for the upcoming school year. In this contract assignment, youll play a crucial role in empowering young learners to overcome communication challenges, making a meaningful difference in their academic success. Youll be based onsite for 37.5 hours a week, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Possess SC Educator Certification
- Prior experience working with school-aged children (K-12) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessments and interventions
- Comfortable participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators and parents
- Background in conducting speech/language therapy in school or pediatric settings
- Experience with teletherapy, clinical fellowship (CFY), or ASHA CCC credentialing is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop, refine, and track individualized speech and language goals
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, sharing professional recommendations and supporting student planning
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to support student growth and skill acquisition
- Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance tasks diligently

- Paid travel time provided for any travel requirements, pending confirmation on mileage reimbursement
