Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows
- Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the schools multi-disciplinary approach to student support
