Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license in Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows
  • Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the schools multi-disciplinary approach to student support
