Make a meaningful impact in educational communities by providing exceptional speech-language support for PreK-8th grade students for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract role requires a dedicated, bilingual professional to serve two school campuses on a 37.5-hour week schedule. Youll contribute significantly through bilingual preschool assessments and direct services to students with Autism, becoming a vital resource in supporting language development and communication skills for a diverse student body.
Desired Skills and Credentials:
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- CCC-SLP certification with experience in school-based settings
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Arizona Department of Education Certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Previous experience with preschool evaluations and Autism preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual speech-language evaluations for preschool-aged children
- Deliver ongoing therapy to PreK-8th grade students across two school sites
- Support students with Autism using evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and provide timely documentation
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all learners
