Job Description

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support high school students in Glendale, AZ. This contract role involves working closely with educators and students to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the school year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting and guiding teachers with observations, describing, and referring students with suspected or identified speech and language impairments
  • Conducting assessments and diagnoses of speech, voice, hearing, and language difficulties
  • Developing and delivering individualized therapy programs tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into educational plans and daily activities

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona SLP License issued by the Department of Education or an equivalent credential
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with high school students
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively partner with educators and support staff

This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week, managing a caseload focused on one high school. The role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational and communication development in an engaging school environment.
