Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Kansas provisional SLP license or eligibility
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness to collaborate with diverse teamsteachers, families, and other specialists
- Commitment to advancing student outcomes through evidence-based techniques
- Completion of required practicum and ready to begin Clinical Fellowship Year
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a school-based setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments following best practices
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations
- Support families and classroom staff with strategies and resources to reinforce student progress
- Seek and utilize mentorship from experienced SLPs to ensure ongoing professional growth
