Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for or current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Completion of required clinical practicum and all academic requirements for CFY
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with school-aged children and helping them overcome communication challenges
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Work under supervision from a licensed SLP to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services in individual and group settings
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and prepare timely reports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Provide counseling and education to students and their families regarding communication disorders and intervention plans
