Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Eligibility for or possession of a Texas SLP-CFY License
• Understanding of current best practices in speech and language intervention for school-aged children
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills
• Positive, flexible attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with experienced SLP supervisors and educational staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in accordance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related functions
• Engage in ongoing professional development and take advantage of mentorship opportunities to expand clinical skills
• Advocate for the communication needs of students and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams
