Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Provisional state licensure to practice as an SLP in Alabama, or eligibility to obtain
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivation to learn and adapt in a school-based setting
- Organization and time management skills to balance caseload requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student speech, language, and communication assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
- Provide both individual and small group therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
