Youll support learners in their communication development, work alongside experienced educational staff, and develop your clinical expertise in a school-centric environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Eligibility for Kansas state licensure as an SLP-CFY
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances for a school setting
- Passion for fostering growth and communication in children and adolescents
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs, under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Administer assessments, interpret results, and contribute to IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Track progress, document session notes, and adjust approaches as needed to support student success
- Engage with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student engagement and outcomes
