Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to work within a school setting located in Taos, NM. This contract position offers hands-on experience supporting students communication development in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational goals

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP
  • Relevant certification or licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with school-aged children
  • Understanding of speech and language disorders in a school environment
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
