A unique opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to work within a school setting located in Taos, NM. This contract position offers hands-on experience supporting students communication development in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational goals
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP
- Relevant certification or licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with school-aged children
- Understanding of speech and language disorders in a school environment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
