Preferred Background & Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) and licensure in Washington State
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Comfort with evaluating and treating school-aged children with varied speech, language, and communication challenges
- Eagerness to work closely with a mentor and multidisciplinary educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication and swallowing disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain timely and accurate progress records and reports
- Adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of each student
