Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field
- Eligibility for or possession of a Georgia SLP license or interim (CF) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to collaborate in a school-based team
- Enthusiasm for working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services under the guidance and mentorship of an ASHA-certified SLP
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to specific student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure progress toward full licensure
