Job Description

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY). This role allows you to hone your practice and gain invaluable experience within a school-based setting close to Starkville, MS. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current or pending Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
  • Eligibility for state licensure or current ability to obtain appropriate licensure to practice as an SLP in schools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Interest in working with diverse student populations, PreK-12
  • Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services, targeting language, articulation, fluency, and voice needs
  • Maintain accurate progress documentation and contribute to team meetings
  • Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development as part of CFY requirements
  • Collaborate with school personnel to support student success in the classroom
