Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligible for or in possession of a temporary SLP license in Michigan
  • Recommended completion of required clinical practicum hours
  • Strong desire to work with school-aged children across various grade levels
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Eagerness to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress for students with communication needs
  • Collaborate with supervising SLP and multidisciplinary team to ensure best practices
  • Document sessions and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
  • Communicate progress to parents, teachers, and administrators
  • Attend and participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
