Job Description

This contract opportunity is close to Sacramento, CA, and is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Collaborate with dedicated educators and help students achieve their academic and social potential.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Eligible for or in process of obtaining Clinical Fellowship (CF) certification
- Strong understanding of child speech, language, and communication needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and adolescents in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports to help determine eligibility and present levels
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Develop treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each students needs
- Offer consultation to school staff to promote generalization of skills in the classroom
