This contract opportunity is close to Sacramento, CA, and is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Collaborate with dedicated educators and help students achieve their academic and social potential.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Eligible for or in process of obtaining Clinical Fellowship (CF) certification
• Strong understanding of child speech, language, and communication needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for working with children and adolescents in a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports to help determine eligibility and present levels
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each students needs
• Offer consultation to school staff to promote generalization of skills in the classroom
