Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with speech-language needs in a dynamic school setting near Sacramento, CA. You'll be part of a dedicated team, providing speech and language services to a diverse pediatric population. This full-time position is itinerant, offering both engaging clinical work and travel between assigned sites.
Your expertise as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy will enable you to make a tangible impact. Gain experience with a caseload model and access ongoing support, including supervision where applicable. Valuable onboarding and potential training on IEP systems will help you integrate seamlessly into the role.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License required (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA considered)
- Previous experience in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric settings preferred
- Comfort with a caseload model
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting students speech-language growth
- Willingness to travel between multiple school locations
- Background check and fingerprinting as required by state and district regulations
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students ranging from preschool to high school
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP processes and complete related documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Offer indirect services, including admin time and team meetings
- Contribute to student progress monitoring and ongoing communication
- Engage in school and district initiatives to enrich student outcomes
