Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) in a supportive educational setting. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current eligibility for Texas SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentialing
- Passion for supporting school-aged children with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance varied caseloads
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students per IEP goals and in accordance with school district policies
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to tailor interventions and foster student success in the classroom
- Complete and maintain timely and accurate documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and related compliance paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities to stay current in best practices
