Job Description
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This role offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours over five days each week, supporting students across a broad age range. The position provides an excellent chance for early-career SLPs to gain structured clinical experience in a vibrant educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) credential or certification
- Commitment to providing speech and language services to K-12 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language assessments and interventions tailored to student needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student success
- Participating in professional development opportunities and team meetings
