Job Description
Embark on a rewarding school-based contract opportunity in the vibrant Ponte Vedra Beach, FL area, supporting students across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity. As a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), you'll work with a diverse pre-K through 12th-grade population, managing an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate needs. This is a full-time, on-site position beginning August 10, 2026, and running through May 28, 2027. Qualifications:
- Completion of a Speech Language Pathology masters program with clinical fellowship eligibility (CFY)
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license required
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children (pre-K through 12th grade)
- Flexibility to serve multiple campuses and adapt to varying student needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to successfully complete required fingerprinting and credential checks through the AHCA Clearinghouse
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs, adjusting interventions based on student progress
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each student's educational plan
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed (itinerant role)
