Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity as a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY-SLP) supporting students in the PreK-12 population. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites in the Jacksonville, FL area as an itinerant provider. Your expertise will help create positive learning environments for children with mild to moderate communication needs.
The upcoming school year will run from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a steady weekly schedule of 35 hours (7 hours per day), designed for consistent student engagement and collaborative school partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
- Eligibility for or current Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing as outlined by state guidelines
- Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to travel between school locations as assigned (itinerant position)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy for students with mild to moderate needs
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to support student success
- Attend school meetings, contribute to IEP development, and participate in student support teams
- Flexibly manage caseload across multiple schools within the district
