Job Description

This contract position is ideal for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate pursuing a career as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and looking to gain valuable experience. Youll be guiding students through individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators, and making a significant difference every day.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for state licensure and ASHA certification (CFY encouraged)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in schools or working with children is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to each students abilities and goals
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
  • Offer guidance and training to teachers and caregivers as needed
