Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Michigan SLP credential (eligibility for CFY or CCC accepted)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
  • Previous work with students on the autism spectrum is highly valued
  • Commitment to serving a K-12 and up to age 26 caseload
  • Clear background check/fingerprinting required prior to start
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students with moderate to severe autism across multiple grade levels
  • Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and monitor IEP goals
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of sessions and progress
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and trainings as needed
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment
