Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Completion of a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and intent to pursue ASHA certification
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability when navigating school environments
- Passion for helping children overcome communication barriers
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech/language screenings, assessments, and therapy to K-12 students under supervision
- Develop individualized treatment plans with input from mentors and school teams
- Maintain timely, accurate records of progress and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Embrace ongoing learning with feedback and mentorship from experienced SLPs
