Job Description

Your expertise will be highly valued as you travel between campuses, providing assessment, intervention, and support tailored to each child's unique communication abilities. The position is on-site, ensuring hands-on interaction and collaboration with students, families, and fellow educators.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
  • Eligibility for or recent completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Experience or strong interest in serving both general and special education populations
  • Capability to manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students (actual caseload to be confirmed)
  • Willingness to work an itinerant schedule across multiple school sites
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting and credentialing processes, including verification of previous prints and obtaining a JLA badge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and direct therapy services to students from preschool through high school
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
  • Travel between assigned sites as needed throughout the week (transportation required)

This role runs during the school year, from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering 35 hours per week with consistent daytime hours.
