Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Eligibility for North Carolina licensure and ASHA certification (CFY status)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Eagerness to learn and grow with feedback from supervising SLPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized intervention plans for students with speech/language needs
- Provide evidence-based therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student progress reports
