A Contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lowell, MA is available within a school setting. This position is ideal for those currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and seeking hands-on experience supporting students with speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Eligibility or enrollment in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy to meet diverse student needs
