Desired Skills & Background:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for state licensure in speech-language pathology (CFY status)
- Commitment to completing Clinical Fellowship Year requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Positive, collaborative approach to working with students, families, and teams
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Conduct screenings and assist with assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
- Engage in professional development opportunities and supervision as part of your CFY
