Qualifications and Background:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
• Eligibility for or possession of Kansas SLP licensure
• Completion of required practicum experience for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for working with school-aged children with diverse needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and district staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and diagnostic services for students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in group and one-on-one settings
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress and achievement
• Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate and support teachers and families regarding communication strategies and student needs
