Qualifications and Background:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for or possession of Kansas SLP licensure
- Completion of required practicum experience for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for working with school-aged children with diverse needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and district staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and diagnostic services for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in group and one-on-one settings
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress and achievement
- Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and support teachers and families regarding communication strategies and student needs
