A reputable school district is seeking three Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) for a contract opportunity during the Extended School Year session, offering both elementary and secondary level assignments in a supportive setting. Supervision for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates is readily availablethis is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and mentorship as you launch your career. Please note: SLP-Assistants are not being considered for this opening.
What Youll Bring:
- Eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) with a masters in Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active provisional SLP license from the Florida Department of Health
- Experience in or passion for working with PreK-12 students
- Ability to work exclusively onsite at a single campus location (no itinerant assignment)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Fingerprinting required by state/school district guidelines (previous FL fingerprints may expedite the process via verification)
- Willingness to participate in an internal video interview for fit and eligibility
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to assigned caseloads (elementary, secondary, or PreK-12, depending on the school site)
- Partner with other education professionals and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Attend and contribute to team and IEP meetings as needed
Key Assignment Details:
- Contract dates: June 10, 2026 July 16, 2026
- Part-time hours: 2026 per week
- Flexible schedules: MondayThursday hours compatible with different student populations
- Assignments at one specific school site (Royal Palm School or Indian Ridge), providing stability through the duration of the contract
