Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ability to obtain or hold state licensure
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse language, speech, and communication needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students per IEPs and referral requirements
  • Assess and document the speech, language, and communication abilities of students
  • Develop targeted intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, including progress notes and reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
