Job Description

Deliver meaningful speech-language services in a vibrant educational setting located near Kennesaw, GA. This contract opportunity involves supporting elementary and middle school students at a single school site for the 2026-2027 academic year. Youll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, helping students achieve communication, language, and literacy goals. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow will make a true difference throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending Georgia PSC certification (required)
  • Valid professional license and active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Georgia
  • Active credential with ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
  • Pass required background checks, including fingerprinting and drug screening
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage young learners and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in school settings with elementary or middle school populations preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy for students with a range of communication needs
  • Assess, develop, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with IEP teams
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
  • Family and teacher consultation to support generalization of communication strategies
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Adapt to changes in caseload and provide services as placement is finalized

Youll contribute to a supportive learning environment focused on student growth and open communication. The ideal start is August 4, 2026, continuing through May 26, 2027, with full-time hours at one school site. Prescreen interviews may be scheduled between 9-11 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. EST, with some flexibility.
