Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for Alaska state licensure and completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with students, families, and school staff
- Passion for supporting students communication needs in an educational setting
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver therapy sessions one-on-one or in small groups, tracking progress through thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as required
- Engage in professional mentorship and supervision to complete CFY competencies
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages communication growth and student engagement
