Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for or possession of Kansas SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- ASHA Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate status
- Strong passion for working with children in educational settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing needs
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions to students following IEP guidelines
- Develop individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports as required by school policies
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in student evaluations
- Communicate goals and progress with parents and caregivers in a supportive, compassionate manner
- Receive ongoing mentorship and feedback from a certified SLP supervisor
