Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for or possession of Kansas SLP licensure
- ASHA Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Compassion for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students according to IEP requirements
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that foster student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
- Document student performance and maintain required records
- Offer support and education to staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies for success
