Qualifications and Preferred Experience

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Eligibility for SLP-CFY status
  • Provisional state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations with varying speech and language needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other providers on intervention strategies
  • Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and state standards
  • Track student progress, document clinical data, and participate in regular team meetings
  • Offer preventative strategies and in-classroom support as needed
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision
  • Maintain ethical and legal standards of practice
