Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) in beautiful southeast Alaska. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Eligibility for Alaska licensure as an SLP and current CFY status
- Strong clinical foundational skills and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
- Passion for supporting communication, language, and social/pragmatic needs in a school-based setting
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual or small-group formats
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to staff and families
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and community-building school activities
- Receive supervision and mentorship from a licensed, certified SLP, supporting the completion of your Clinical Fellowship
