Job Description
A school-based opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position offers a full-time schedule working 37.5 hours per week across five days, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Florida SLP-CFY credential or certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students.
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings.
- Develop and provide individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and report on student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
