Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year in accordance with ASHA guidelines
- Michigan SLP provisional licensure (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for working with school-aged children across diverse backgrounds and needs
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Eagerness to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a varied caseload of students
- Screen, assess, and document student progress using established protocols
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward goals
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive strategies
- Participate in professional development and mentorship programs to enhance your skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
