Qualifications and Desired Abilities:

• Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Provisional or temporary licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Montana or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Strong communication skills and a passion for serving school-aged children
• Eagerness to learn, seek feedback, and collaborate with supervising SLPs and education staff
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to fostering a positive therapy environment

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

• Provide speech and language therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Screen, assess, and assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs
• Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student learning and growth
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and activities designed to enhance therapy outcomes
• Adapt therapy approaches for both individual and small-group settings
