Job Description

Take on an exciting contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY) in a welcoming school-based setting near Federal Way, WA. This position allows you to make a direct impact on students communication, language, and academic progress while learning and growing professionally alongside experienced mentors.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as required for state licensure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging, individualized treatment plans and documentation
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage caseloads efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as determined by IEPs and team recommendations
  • Assess communication disorders and create evidence-based intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support each students educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student achievement
  • Benefit from consistent supervision and mentorship as part of your Clinical Fellowship Year
