Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with a temporary state license
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students with speech, language, or communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Provide direct therapy services to students through individual and group sessions
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings as required
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
  • Participate in professional development and supervision as part of the CFY process
  • Engage in ongoing communication with mentors and supervisors for guidance and feedback
