Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students in West Palm Beach, FL as a Clinical Fellowship Year Speech Language Pathologist. This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills under supervision in a supportive, school-based setting, serving either elementary or secondary students at a single campusno itinerant travel required.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida provisional SLP license (Dept. of Health)
- Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year; supervision provided
- Recent experience or practicum in school-based SLP services preferred
- Ability to complete FL school district credentialing and fingerprinting (including AHCA Clearinghouse verification and JLA badge process)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- SLPAs not accepted for this opportunity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary or K-12 students at either Royal Palm School or Indian Ridge
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and families to support IEP goals
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in line with district procedures
- Attend appropriate meetings and contribute clinical expertise to student support teams
- Maintain compliant and timely records
Assignment Details:
- Part-time schedule (20-26 hours per week)
- Hours align with school day: Monday-Thursday, with specific start/end times based on assigned age group
- Service one school site for the Extended School Year (June 10 to July 16, 2026)
- On-site position; not open to teletherapy
